Topic: Upgrading to 1.7.0 on OpenBSD

Hello,

I am on 1.6.8 on OpenBSD 7.3. I am wondering if it is better to upgrade the OS to 7.5 before or after I do the iRedMail upgrade procedure.

Upgrade iRedMail first, then upgrade OS to 7.5.

Hmm… I (mis)understood that the OS should be upgraded first. So I just upgraded OpenBSD 7.3 -> 7.4 -> 7.5. As part of upgrading to OpenBSD 7.5 there was a PostgreSQL 15 -> 16 upgrade that I couldn't get to work.

Thankfully I was able to revert to a working setup (OpenBSD 7.3 with iRedMail 1.6.8) via a backup.
