Hello
Running an iRedAdmin-Pro install with SQL.
IPv6 added to an RBL list and they're requested a full /64 allocation before removal. Planning to turn up new machine, IPs, etc. so looking for short term fix vs awaiting /64 allocation and reconfiguration.
Review of some documents but never know if missed anything somewhere....
Can we just leave the IPv6 attached to the machine but tell Postfix to deliver all email via the IPv4 only address by altering the below configurations and what problems (e.g. iredapd) could be created?
Can we just alter the file: /etc/postfix/main.cf
and change the paramanters to: inet_protocols = ipv4
from "all" to have Postfix deliver everything as IPv4?
Do not see in main.cf a variable: smtp_bind_address6 =
Does it need to be set anywhere on the machine?
Do we need to alter amavisd.conf or iredapd settings.py to prevent any issues?
Do we need, or have to, alter the Dovecot file:
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
listen = * [::]
listen = *
Many thanks in advance.
