Key Changes in v1.7.0 and v1.7.1
New Roundcube release (1.6.15) with security fixes.
Support for Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. The official release is scheduled for April 27th. We have tested with the nightly build and will conduct further tests with the stable release.
Architectural Simplification: The standalone `mlmmjadmin` component has been removed. All its features are now natively integrated into the EE core.
General Improvements: This release also includes numerous bug fixes, web UI refinements, and under-the-hood optimizations for better stability and performance.
New Prices
At the same time, to make EE accessible to more users, we are reducing the license prices:
Unlimited Mailboxes License: The purchase price is now $1,000 with an annual renewal fee of $400 (previously $3,000 / $1,200). For all existing licenses purchased at $3,000, the remaining $2,000 has been credited as a 5‑year renewal applied to the license.
Per‑Mailbox‑Per‑Year Price: Now $10 (previously $15). License renewal fees will be calculated at the new rate.
For existing licenses:
Any EE license purchased at a price higher than $1,000 is automatically converted to an Unlimited Mailboxes License.
The renewal fee remains at $250 for licenses which have migrated from iRedAdmin-Pro or iRedMail Easy.
