Hey guys! I know I submitted a forum post yesterday about Spider, but I have a few more questions. My apologies for the double post.

1.) Does Spider need to be installed on a server running iRedMail or can it just be installed on any Unix server as a stand-alone? I'm asking because I want to give it a try, but I want to install it on a test server that is not running iRedMail.

2.) What other remote storage platforms are supported besides S3? We use BackBlaze as our online storage provider. Can i use that with Spider? If yes, do you have instructions on how to set it up?

3.) I read a post back from 2023 that said you guys no longer offer free trials for Spider. Is that true? If not, will I need to purchase it for a minimum of 5 users just to try it out?

Thanks!

Re: Question about Spider archiver

1) You can install Spider Email Archiver on any Linux server which runs systemd, it doesn't need to be an iRedMail server.
2) Only local storage and S3 are supported so far.
3) You can request a free one month trial license after signed up to our iRedMail Store website: https://store.iredmail.org/
