Topic: problem with iredmail 0.7.3

I installed first iredmail 0.7.2. It worked only the fact that user cannot connect to roundcube.
So i installed iredmail 0.7.3 (some little conflicts ^^)
At the end of the installed :
I have some warnings:
- "slapd not running?" check /var/run/openldap/slapd.pid (it contain "702")

- mysqladmin:connect to server at localhost failed
error: 'Access denied foruser 'root'@'localhost' (using pasword: NO)'
For information, i installed iredmail 0.7.3 with the same passwd than 0.7.2

-chown : /var/vmail/sieve/dovecot.sieve.sample : Operation not permitted


then i have reboot my pc
and some time a warning appears on my shell
"Oct 2 14:37:18 mail postfix/trivial-rewrite[1252]: fatal: proxy :ldap : /usr/local/etc/postfix/ldap/virtual_mailbox_domains.cf(0,lock|fold_fix): table lookup problem


when i tried to connect to roundcube i have this warning :
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

iredadmin works and phpmyadmin to.
Can you help me for all my problem please?

Did you re-install FreeBSD before installing 0.7.3? iRedMail cannot perform a "override" installation, so please use a FRESH OS instead.

It could be caused by incorrect LDAP bind dn and password in /usr/local/etc/postfix/ldap/virtual_mailbox_domains.cf, please check it again.

You need to check MySQL related settings in Roundcube config file: /usr/local/www/roundcubemail/config/db.inc.php, make sure you can access MySQL server with configured username and password.

Hello,
i juste re-install freebsd and iredmail 0.7.3
just one problem :
when i tried to connect to webmail, it says :
connection to imap serveur failed.


an advice? smile

It means IMAP server (Dovecot) was not running or it raised some error.
Please check dovecot log file /var/log/dovecot.log for more detail.

I found in log where was the problem.
Now it works big_smile
