Topic: Alias with LDAP

==== Provide basic information to help troubleshoot ====
- iRedMail version: v0.7.4
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Centos 5.5
- Any related log? Log is helpful for troubleshooting.
====

We are following the wiki for creating an alias:
http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … pLDAPadmin

but get "Updating Object" when commit changes. Have left it for 10 minutes but no luck.

Has anyone had this before and what is the solution?

Did I forget some info maybe? Anyone know why aliases would not work in this version of iRedmail?

Wiki tutorial should be fine, the problem is problem behind message "Updating Object", there could be something wrong with PHP. Is there any related error log in Apache log file?

Also, do you use iRedMail-0.7.3 or 0.7.4-rc2 release?

Yes using 0.7.4-rc2 version. I cannot see any errors in error or openldap logs while it says updating object. It just doesn't complete.

Is there anything else I can try that you can think of?

Did you check Apache log files? it should be /var/log/httpd/*.
