Topic: Ask : FTP Server and Client on Iredmail Server are Blocked.

Hello Mr, Zhang

I just Installed Ubuntu server 11.10 and install iredmail 7.4, everyting is OK.
and now on the same server I want to setup ftp server and client, I use pro-ftpd-mysql and ftp for client,
when I access the ftp server from localhost, It's works fine, but I can't access the ftp server from other machines..?

and the second, when I Access the other ftp server from it's, can work until prompt username and password, when I try to access list of folder and  files, it's blank, and If I press ctrl+c, it's day "aborted"

Did you modify the iptables to accept connections on port 21? Also adding it to the fail2ban config would be helpful as well.

iptables -L -v to see your current list. If port 21 is not listed, it would be blocked by default.
