Topic: Postfix Name lookup stopped abruptly
Hi,
I am using Iredmail for last one year, and its the first time having this issue.
- iRedMail version: Version: 0.6.1
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS release 5.6 (Final)
Just started having this problem as below :
Apr 16 04:05:08 mail postfix/smtpd[4373]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[65.55.111.144]: 450 4.1.8 <xxx@msn.com>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found; from=<xxx@msn.com> to=<yyy@mydomain.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<blu0-omc4-s5.blu0.hotmail.com>
Apr 16 04:05:09 mail postfix/smtpd[4373]: disconnect from unknown[65.55.111.144]
The named lookup on the server works fine.
The /etc/resolv.conf and /var/spool/postfix/chroot/etc/resolv.conf are same.
No changes done to any config, but it kept on giving the above error, for sending and receiving mails from any domains outside our local domain
I have about 200 Users, and some application dependent on it.
So have updated the main.cf to ignore the domain check for the smptd_recipient_restrictions.
I am however not comfortable doing this, as this jeopardises the security policy implemented by iredmail.
Any specific reason, why I might be having this issue, which just started today..
Any help is appreciated.
