Hello.
My name is Alex, as specified above, I manage a server (Debian Squeeze) with iRedMail (1.6) using MySQL.

I need to know how... how I can install a XMPP server (jabber) and use the same database that iRedMail. I dont care if I need to use ejabberd or openfire smile

All the tutorials I've read on the net are for ejabberd and iredmail, but using openLDAP.

Please, could someone help me?

If need more data or information just let me know.

PS: Sorry for my english, it's not my primary language.

Looks like ejabberd requires its own SQL structure, which means you probably cannot use iRedMail sql database for user authentication.

may be possible with openfire ,u need to make additonal columns and have to change table names in iredmail etc etc..
