Topic: How to apply HOTFIX

Hello,

I have just installed iredmail and it seems to work fine. As stated in the installation guide, hotfix need to be applied after installation. could any one please provide me detail on how I apply hotfix for the newly installed iredmail ?

Here is hotfix for current -release version: http://www.iredmail.org/hotfix.html

If you use older version, please upgrade to the lastest version, and then apply the hotfix:
http://www.iredmail.org/doc.html#upgrade_tutorial

I will try to apply the current hotfix. by the way, how do I know which version of iRedMail I am currently running? is there a command to show this?

Try this command:

# postconf mail_version

And you can find iRedMail version number in every configuration files which modified by iRedMail, e.g. /etc/postfix/, /etc/dovecot*
