I'm setting up a new email server for my employer. The old email server has to go. I ran the iRedMail installation without a problem, in addition to applying a static IP to the server. The interfaces values are essentially the same as the old email server, same IPv4 address, gateway, etc. I am able to send emails without a problem; however, I cannot receive emails. What have I done wrong???

The DNS records are correct as well. I ran "dig" and received the appropriate response.

You check the mail log on /var/log/maillog ? you can monitoring with:

user@myserver# tail -f /var/log/maillog

And you can see the errors if exist. In a new instalation you need configure the domains aproved for receive emails in this server.

After some research, I realized that I had the sender receipt rules in the wrong order. What a dummy! Anyway, problem solved! My mail server is working like a champ now.
