Just wondering how to decrease the spam threshold on our box. Looking at mail headers, I see:

X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at **MAILSERVER NAME REMOVED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES**
X-Spam-Flag: NO
X-Spam-Score: 5.119
X-Spam-Level: *****
X-Spam-Status: No, score=5.119 tagged_above=2 required=6.2
    tests=[BAYES_50=0.8, HTML_MESSAGE=0.001,

I'd like to set the threshold to a lower number than the messages that have been "sneaking in" lately.

Re: X-SPAM Scores

Check below variables in Amavisd config file:

$sa_tag_level_deflt
$sa_tag2_level_deflt
$sa_kill_level_deflt

If you don't understand what they're used for, please Google it first.

Re: X-SPAM Scores

Oh, I know what they do. I didn't realize the configuration was in amavisd and not in spamassassin. I've lowered the bayes score threshold, and hopefully we see less spam. Thanks Zhang, you're the best. smile
