Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

Please try to install it manually if it interrupts the installation. For example:

# cd /usr/ports/security/cyrus-sasl2
# make clean
# make install clean

Then re-execute iRedMail installer.

Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

When did you download iRedMail-0.8.6? Could you please download iRedMail-0.8.6 below and try again?
http://www.iredmail.org/download.html

Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

Fresh install FreeBSD 10,
fresh install ports,
iRedMail fresh download and install   http://www.iredmail.org/download.html

Note that some of the standard modules are provided as separate
ports since they require extra dependencies:

bsddb           databases/py-bsddb
gdbm            databases/py-gdbm
sqlite3         databases/py-sqlite3
tkinter         x11-toolkits/py-tkinter

Install them as needed.

Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

Looks like port error. Can you successfully install it manually?

Note: iRedMail doesn't provide you ports tree, so if a port installation failed, and you cannot install it manually, there must be something wrong with the port itself.

10

Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

I tried to install the ports manually, error persists. freebsd installed yesterday and ports updated

11

Re: fresh install FreeBSD 10 error

Please try to update ports tree again, if it fail again after ports tree update, please contact port maintainer to report this error.

I suggest to re-install FreeBSD 10 with the ISO image downloaded from www.freebsd.org or a trusted mirror.
