Topic: Changing root aliases: newaliases required?

==== Required information ====

I'm trying to change the root alias so that logwatch reports, etc. get sent to an email address I actually check.  I changed the entry in /etc/postfix/aliases but when I tried running newaliases as indicated, I get this:

> newaliases /etc/postfix/aliases
newaliases: fatal: alias initialization mode requires no recipient

My question: am I even going about this the right way?  Or would I be just as far ahead to set up forwarding in iRedAdminPRO?

Never mind, figured it out.  You just need to run "newaliases" with no argument.  Did that, restarted Postfix, and the messages are going where I want them to now.
