Hello,

Is it possible to set up iRedMail Open Source Edition as a backupMX.
I can't see the option in web panel but I can see it on MySQL Database.

If I add domain via SQL with backupmx = 1, does it work ?
If yes, I need to create all mailbox too I guess, does I  need to insert alias and other information about email on database ?

Best regards,
Max

Hi Max,

Unfortunately, default backupmx setting is broken, you cannot use iRedMail as backup mx by setting 'backupmx=1' in SQL table.
Another solution is setting up Postfix as backup mx directly.

ok and then do you know if it'll use antispam of iredmail if I setup postfix directly ?

Thanks for your answer smile

Postfix doesn't use anti-spam filter by default, you have to configure Postfix for this.
