Topic: iRedMail on Amazon Linux

Hi,

will iRedMail ever support Amazon Linux?
Since Amazon Linux is based on centos, I guess its possible without problems?

Unfortunately, Amazon customizes the CentOS instance, it uses Amazon's own yum repo, but we test only CentOS official yum repo, so iRedMail installation doesn't work. To get it working, you have to disable all Amazon's own yum repos, then enable CentOS official yum repo.

Another solution is, choose Ubuntu instance instead of CentOS, it works just fine without addition modification.
