Topic: fatal: no SASL authentication mechanisms

Hi, today I can't login to roundcube and found the following error message in mail.err

Apr 8 00:28:41 ubuntu-01 postfix/smtpd[5729]: fatal: no SASL authentication mechanisms
Apr 8 00:29:37 ubuntu-01 roundcube: [08-Apr-2010 00:29:37 +0200] IMAP Error: Could not connect to 127.0.0.1 at port 143: Connection refused (POST /webmail/?_task=&_action=login)

What's wrong? How can I fix it?

Thanks for the hint. The solution was in the /var/log/dovecot.log
