Hi, I'm trying to access the web UI for Cluebringer.  It prompts me with an alert box requesting username / password.

I have tried postmaster and SQL but can't seem to get in.  What is the default passwords?

It's a bug in iRedMail-0.8.7, mod_auth_mysql doesn't work with Apache-2.4, and iRedMail doesn't use libaprutil1-dbd-mysql to replace mod_auth_mysql.

I followed the guide but have ran into two problems.

I do not have the conf-available directory, only http.d in /etc/apache2

# a2enconf awstats
# a2enconf cluebringer

Those commands are not found when trying to enable them.

i modified the two .conf files in http.d directory but I am still having that authentication screen pop up.

I installed required package

 # apt-get install libaprutil1-dbd-mysql 

Backed up old apache files in /etc/apache2/conf.d
awstats.conf
clubringer.conf

Replaced awstats with:

Changed the passwords for the vmail user to the proper passwords

Attempted to enable awstats / cluebringer

both a2enconf commands failed to find a2enconf

a2enmod authn_dbd was successfully activated

After I Commented out Auth_MySQL_Info and Auth_MySQL_General_DB in /etc/apache2/apache2.conf

Debian 7 doesn't have this command, but Ubuntu 14.04 has. So it's ok to ignore this.

This is what I get in my apache error.log

The authorization alert is still coming up but no matter what I type it takes me to a 500 internal server error.

Oh, you should disable Apache module 'mod_auth_mysql' and restart Apache service. Try this:

# a2dismod auth_mysql

I tried mySQL user / iredmail postmaster but nothing seems to work.

It should be 'postmaster@[your_domain]', you can find it in file "iRedMail.tips" (e.g. /root/iRedMail-0.8.7/iRedMail.tips).

is the login the same as the /iredadmin?? I tried the same password and it does not work.

Yes. and it must be global domain admin.
