Topic: Stop fail2ban and use OSSEC instead?

- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 6.5

During installation I choose to install fail2ban, but I prefer Ossec. Can I simple yum remove fail2ban and install Ossec instead?
Or will this cause issues?
