Topic: Mails are going to SPAM/Junk in Gmail&Hotmail.

We just installed iredmail on DigialOcean VPS and all the configurations done Well. But still mails are going to SPAM/Junk in gmail&Hotmail.

We tested the mail score in www.mail-tester.com it is 10/10.

SPF/DKIM configured successfully.

Here is the mail header received on Junk folder of Gmail.

It's hard to know how Gmail/Hotmail judge a message is spam. i have no idea yet. sorry.

Not only Gmail & Hotmail i just given as example other most of the domains also having the same issue..

Is header showing anything wrong? may be i missed anything in the configuration..?

Mail header looks just fine, SPF/DKIM are valid.

where he says /etc/amavis/50-user  , there is no such file on centos (if you are using that), and I actually had to add the $localhost_name = $myhostname; line in /etc/amavisd/amavisd.conf file.

You need to follow that thread fully and carefully, and follow it EXACTLY. You need to get rid of ALL 'localhost' words from your email headers. It is going to get mark your email messages as spam.

When I say get rid of them, I meant to say replace them with your domain name
