Topic: MS Outlook connectors

We have configured iRedMail and the system is working perfectly. Right now we are looking for little collaboration services i.e Calender Free/Busy announce, global address book etc. for MS outlook users.

Is there away that we can implement Bynari or Toltec Outlook connectors with iRedMail. It seems Cyrus IMAP4 working with those tools but no exact configurations even for Dovecot.

Please share if someone who has experiencing iRedMail with Outlook connectors

Will IRedMail with MySQL backend work with SoGo?

I'm interested on SoGo-iRedMail integration but my objective is MS Outlook calender synchronization with using Outlook connectors which support IMAP4 servers. Outlook connector support is not very friendly with SoGo where I didn't see much informations about MS Outlook connectivity though Thunderbird and mobile connectivity etc.

SoGo says the compatible connector is SideOne but the SideOnce has no active site.

I had a chat with Bynari MS Outlook connector guys and they haven't tested it on Dovecot IMAP4 but Cyrus IMAP4. I wonder the possibility of iRedMail to work with Cyrus instead of Dovecot! Can we use Cyrus IMAP4 instead of Dovecot?

However I will give a try on Dovecot and Bynari Outlook connector integration with the help of Dovecot communities.

Both provide standard IMAP4 protocol, i GUESS it should be ok with dovecot.

Hi, do you need pro version in order to integrate with sogo or the free one works as well?

Obviously, NO.

When we talk about "pro version", it's just the web admin panel - iRedAdmin-Pro. All mail service related features are implemented in iRedMail part (free, open source).
