Topic: Dashboard system information does not show iRedMail version

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.2
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): PGSQL
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
- Related log if you're reporting an issue: NA
====

The Dashboard has the iRedAdmin version in the System Information block, but not the iRedMail version. Which is strange since the value you require when posting an issue in this forum is the iRedMail version.

Re: Dashboard system information does not show iRedMail version

Dear orsonb,

You can get iRedMail version number in file /etc/iredmail-release. This file is not updated by any program, but manually, so we cannot know what content might be written in this file by server admin. to avoid confusion due to improper parsing, iRedAdmin doesn't show it.

Well, i just updated iRedAdmin, upcoming iRedAdmin (both open source edition and Pro) release will get iRedMail version number from /etc/iredmail-release and show it in Dashboard page.
