Hi , I setup Iredmail correctly, includes SPF,PTR,DKIM, all passed. On DigitalOcean and Linode VPS.

Testing on mail-tester(website),the score is 10.It is perfect. IP passed mxtoolbox.com/blacklists(website) testing too.It is a clean IP.

But sent email to Gmail, always go into spam folder.

What is the reason ?   Two days ago, It can send to Gmail successfully, same setup method. After rebuilding the Iredmail today, it is always in Spam.

The gmail report is as below :

Re: gmail spam problem

Not sure changed DKIM key impacts this or not, i guess it should be fine after waiting for some days, but not sure.
The hardest part is, we don't know how Gmail detects spam and what we can do to avoid this.

Re: gmail spam problem

Thanks a lot, Mr.Zhang.

Another test result is as below:

The Port25 Solutions, Inc. team

==========================================================
Summary of Results
==========================================================
SPF check: pass
DomainKeys check: neutral
DKIM check: pass
Sender-ID check: pass
SpamAssassin check: ham

Is it helpful for you ?

Many thanks!

Re: gmail spam problem

The most important part is how Gmail detects spam, no matter how good test result you got from mxtoolbox/Port25/...
