The vacation filter was previously working, but now is not (am able to receive/send mail otherwise)
Here is the error from dovecot-sieve:

Issue solved with a paid support ticket.

Dovecot sends vacation notification email and other internal mails by calling local 'sendmail' program, it's /usr/sbin/sendmail by default, but looks like this doesn't work on your server. so i comment out 'sendmail_path =' in dovecot.conf, and add new parameter:

submission_host = 127.0.0.1

This way it sends email via smtp protocol, not calling local program. and now it works. smile
