Topic: purchase of pro version

hello all,

i am new to this forum.
We provide corporate (transactional no bulk emailing/marketing) email services to customers.
We currently using qmailtoaster but am looking at other options
We have some expertise in compiling qmail packages and the relevant tools for setting up the system and always prefer a manual step by setup so that i am able to learn and understand each part of the software and be prepared for any troubleshooting

The server on which we plan to run iredmail is debian 9 it has a 24 core proc, 256 gb ram, 2 x 400 gb SSD raid1 for os and queue + 12 tb SSD raid1+0.

i plan to host around 8000 email ids transacting around 300,000 emails per day on this server.

I am planning to purchase iRedAdmin-Pro version, but had a few questions and request the help of the experienced members in this forum

1) can the software scale up to handle 300,000 emails mostly spread over 6 peak working hours ?

2) is there any demo or trial version available since the link of the website https://demo-sql.iredmail.org is not working ?

3) Is SOGO groupware automatically  installed with the pro version. Is there any additional cost for the same ?

4) Has anybody tried groupoffice along with iRedAdmin-Pro ?

5) what is the cost involved is it 499/year/server and 250usd renewal cost per server ?

6) Any other points that you would like to suggest before implementation

I didn't try this before, but should be fine.
Some performance tuning may required if it doesn't work as expected, for example, disable spam/virus scanning for outbound.

SOGo is shipped in iRedMail, so it's free to get it.

it covers iRedAdmin-Pro itself: new releases, bug fix.
iRedMail server maintenance or tech support is NOT included in iRedAdmin-Pro license.

- Setup an internal DNS server for this mail server with fast upstream DNS server. If you already have a DNS server in LAN, then it's ok.

thanks for the reply.

we are trying out the admin control panel

had a few questions

1) for installing the  iRedAdmin-Pro you will be providing the source files, which i need to download and compile on my server, right ?

2) if wish to change the look and feel / colors, etc in in iredmail admin, can i do that ?

3) the yearly renewal cost for  iRedAdmin-Pro is 250 usd correct ?

4) if i have some hardware problem with my server and i have to shift to a new server will there be any license restrictions ?

5) Does the system support additional virus scanners other than clam ?

6) can I modify the spamassassin config files to add spamhaus rules since we have a license of spamhaus rbl and uri

If you want to change HTML template, you need to modify the html files directly.

Do you have any solution for the same since clam is not very useful at all.

2) Can I modify the spamassassin config files manually to add my own rules ?

Amavisd supports other virus scanner, but i didn't test any of them myself.
