Hi Support,

We are trying to install SoGo after initial install of iredmail.

Understand that this has been discussed before on below thread:-
https://forum.iredmail.org/topic10440-i … stall.html

However, we have checked the installer folder for iRedMail-0.9.9 but there is no file called config in it. Have tried downloading a fresh installer but was also unable to locate the config file. Is there anything I might have missed out?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Jovi

The "config" file is generated during iRedMail installation, you should check the iRedMail-0.9.9 folder which you used to deploy the server, NOT download a new one.

Re: Installation of SoGo after initial Install

Hi ZhangHuangBin,

Our fresh install was from iRedMail-0.9.5-1. Subsequently, we upgraded to 0.9.9.
Can we use the config file generated by the iRedMail-0.9.5-1 installer for iRedMail 0.9.9?

Thank you.

Better not. The variable names used by different iRedMail versions may be different (sorry i cannot remember these details).

You'd better install SOGo manually.

btw, with the iRedMail Easy platform, you can easily select the SOGo component and click one button to install it.

Re: Installation of SoGo after initial Install

Hi ZhangHuangBin,

I see there is a SoGo installation guide for CentOS 6 in the iRedMail documentation:-
https://docs.iredmail.org/sogo-centos-6-openldap.html

Is the process similar for CentOS7?
If I have to manual download the setup, does iRedMail 0.9.9 support SoGo Backend Version 4.0.8 ?

Thank you.

Re: Installation of SoGo after initial Install

The installation procedure and configuration are still almost same. smile
I suggest you practice with a testing machine first.

No plan to update it for CentOS 7 or other linux/bsd distributions, sorry.
This is perfectly handled by the iRedMail Easy platform, you don't need to know any technical details, just click few buttons/links.
