I am setting  up email account on iphone X using IMAP, get error message

Logins are disabled for "thisaccount"

The IMAP server is not responding.

Please assist

Probably banned in iptables firewall by Fail2ban. Please try to stop "fail2ban" temporarily and try again.

I have tried to stop "fail2ban" but still the same error

Any related error in Dovecot/Postfix log files on your server?
