It seems that the french characters like "é" and "è" are not displaying correctly in iRedAdmin Pro in the Received Mails and Sent Mails pages. See attached screenshot.

The postfix logs are displaying the correct characters. Is there a place where I can say which encoding to use ?

Thanks

The one displayed in iRedAdmin-Pro is handled by Amavisd-new, it decodes mail subject and store it in SQL table "amavisd.msgs".

Re: Encoding issue in iRedAdmin Pro statistic pages

Hey Zhang,

According to my amavisd config, the encoding used is the default iso-8859-1 which should support 'é'. Is this the correct setting or it's something else ?

# Select notifications text encoding when Unicode-aware Perl is converting
# text from internal character representation to external encoding (charset
# in MIME terminology). Used as argument to Perl Encode::encode subroutine.
#
# to be used in RFC 2047-encoded header field bodies, e.g. in Subject:
#$hdr_encoding = 'iso-8859-1'; # (default: 'iso-8859-1')
#
# to be used in notification body text: its encoding and Content-type.charset
#$bdy_encoding = 'iso-8859-1'; # (default: 'iso-8859-1')

Thanks
