Hi,

i have tried to share some mail folders. I have done this with SOGo. everything seems OK, even when I check the permission settings with dovecot.
But nether SOGo nor my mail client shows me the shared folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please turn on debug mode in Dovecot and reproduce the same issue, try to figure out why it happened based on the log:

OK.
the logs seem OK, except this entry

imap(guenther@yyy.yyy): Debug: shared: Tried to access mails of nonexistent user testuser_mail@yyy.yyy

I listed the complete mailbox:

dovecot mailbox list -u guenther@yyy.yyy

Trash
Sent
Drafts
Junk
Shared
Shared/testuser_mail@yyy.yyy
Shared/testuser_mail@yyy.yyy/Sent
INBOX

...and here ist is.

But the shared folders are nether shown in my mail Client nor in SOGo.

When I try to list the  maildir of user guenther@yyy.yyy in SOGo the log writes the following entries:

It says user "testuser_mail@yyy.yyy" doesn't exist.

Fixed (with a support ticket).

The cause is mail user account missed LDAP attribute/value pair: "enabledService=imap".
I guess you disabled insecure IMAP access with iRedAdmin-Pro? but since you have "ssl = required" in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf, secure connections are required for imap/pop3 services, so no need to disable insecure imap access with iRedAdmin-Pro (it removes "enabledService=imap").

Exactly.

if you uncheck "Fetching mails via IMAP", it removes LDAP attribute/value pair "enabledService=imap". This causes the issue.
