Topic: can not send email or receive it except itself

I have setup the DNS and i'm getting a 7/8 rating for my setup, but I still can't send or receive email. Can someone tell me why that is the case?

I get a return in my email Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address

- Please show us full Postfix log lines related to your testing email.
- Please show us the full bounce message for troubleshooting.

you  have quite a mess here:
1. for domain hostingme.ca MX record looks like this
hostingme.ca.           300     IN      MX      10 _dc-mx.36b8533a1891.hostingme.ca.

i guess you have configured your iredmail server as mail.hostingme.ca, then you should change MX record from _dc-mx.36b8533a1891 to mail

your current name is unresolvable
[000.026]            MX    (10) _dc-mx.36b8533a1891.hostingme.ca
[000.044]            MX:A-->_dc-mx.36b8533a1891.hostingme.ca    unresolvable

2. your IP address 99.242.22.7 should have PTR pointing to mail.hostingme.ca
Now it shows something else:

dig -x 99.242.22.7
7.22.242.99.in-addr.arpa. 1200  IN      PTR     cpe30b7d4feddb3-cm30b7d4feddb0.sdns.net.rogers.com.

3. You should remove this IP from blacklist:

LISTED    Spamhaus ZEN

When names are correctly set, you should open at least 25 port to your server for tests.

if you own domain - go to your registrar web page and set DNS records accordingly.

Here is the the message I get from mail-tester. its asking me to change my A record but I have alreaded pointed it. and I'm still getting the message. would can I do with it?



We check if there is a server (A Record) behind your hostname .hostingme.ca.
You may want to publish a DNS record (A type) for the hostname .hostingme.ca or use a different hostname in your mail software

I have corrected the dns but it didnt fix anyting? I have included a picture of what is working.

in the picture, its saying that I don't have A record but I do have one,
