Hi everyone,

I'm new with the whole IredAdmin Pro and we want to install this on our production server, but before I want to install it on the production server I would like to test the installation on one of our test server(s) and see how it would react. Because we have a complete mirror of our production server.

Anyone knows how the activation/registration works of Admin Pro and if it is possible to install it on more servers to test it?

We currently have bought one license.

If you just need to test for a short time, e.g. one month, it's ok then. But if you need to always run it on another server, you need to buy another license.

BTW, for iRedAdmin-Pro questions, it's ok to mail to us (support _at_ iredmail.org) directly.

Ok, we have build a testing server for these sorts of updates, so as long as we have the server not all the time running (only for updates and testing other changes which we do not trust directly on production) it's ok? But a fallback server should need an extra license if we want the pro features on that server too?

Are there changes in SQL tables in Pro/Free, because we currently replicate the database one-to-one on the servers and if there aren't changes we can just upgrade one server to pro instead of both.

Re: Activation IredAdmin Pro

If you need to test the iRedAdmin-Pro RESTful API, running a testing machine seems reasonable. But with normal updates, you just need to take care of iRedMail updates, not iRedAdmin-Pro, in this case a testing machine with iRedAdmin-Pro is not necessary.

iRedAdmin-Pro is ok to upgrade from an old release to the latest release (e.g. from version 1 to version 3 and skip version 2).
