Topic: Help me out please!

Latest; 0.9.8
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
Debian 9

Hi there,
I am completely new to mailservers and setting them up, there fore I choose iredmail cause it looked so easy...

However after completing the install, and set the dns records it doesn't let me go to the admin nor the other pages for webmail and so on.

Can someone please help me out?
The end user e-mail should be something@easyvoiceonline.nl the mail server should be mail.easyvoicemail.nl etc. the systems ip is 185.95.31.30
All services seems to run fine.

N.B.; I can set my e-mail client (Mac) using the IPadress And postmaster received the default send mails by iredmail.

Lets wait 15 min for the dns records to be updated! Then I'll let you know!

unfortunately it doesn't change a bit, any other suggestions? Maybe you can check into the system?  I can setup my e-mail client but not enter any webpage created by the system such as round cube and the admin pages.

Try to stop firewall on server first, then access the webmail again.

service iptables stop

Does it work for you?

Do you have any network firewall which blocks port 443?

I din't set the firewall of course but I completely removed the VM and began over.
Using the correct settings then it worked!

You can verify it yourself with command 'dig' like this:

dig -t mx easyvoicemail.nl

I checked MX type DNS record of your domain name "easyvoiceonline.nl", still no MX record yet.
If you're not familiar with DNS setup, maybe you should contact DNS service vendor to get some help.

I've asked them but they won't since I manage my own dns records can you please provide a example of how to set it every rule so I can type them over? It might be a big question but I would be very great full, if it works fine we're willing to upgrade!

My recommendation for you is to delete all "CNAME" records and replace them with "A"  records.  That will likely fix your immediate problem.  Why?

First, It's not legal for a domain to be a CNAME *and* have other record types.  Secondly, you are using CNAME as though it's an A record - you really want another domain name there unless you really want a subdomain of 185.95.31.30.easyvoiceonline.nl to be created.    Third, it's not legal for a top-level domain to even be a CNAME as that would mean that you couldn't define NS records for hosting the domain. 

CNAME records are a  quick shortcut to say A.b.com is the same as B.b.com.  So something like this:

www.easyvoiceonline.nl        A     192.0.2.1
secure.easyvoiceonline.nl      CNAME  www.easyvoiceonline.nl

Anything else, and you'll likely run into problems which could be avoided entirely if you just defined both using identical A records like this:

secure.easyvoiceonline.nl  A    192.0.2.1
www.easyvoiceonline.nl    A    192.0.2.1


BTW, what program/interface was used to configure the screenshot of your DNS records?  It's obvious to me that it doesn't really do any sanity checking

The interface you see is provided from our host partner

But sending an e-mail to @easyvoiceonline.nl still results in;
